Hi guys,

I'm out of state (AZ) and want to apply for CPJE. I'm currently in the process of completing the application and would like to know the estimated time periods for the CABOP to process the application, ATT to be generated, score to be received, and license to be received. I am planning to work there in January. Based on your knowledge, do you think I can be licensed by then if I turn in my application next week (currently waiting on the self query report)? I'm hoping so. Any information would be great. Thank you!

Hi it takes about 30 days to process the application sometimes longer.

I’m also an out of state grad. Turned in my application end of May, got my ATT mid July, took CPJE late July and NAPLEX first week of August. Received my results 9/1, and my license posted 9/28.

As you can see, the whole process took about 4 months for me. Mind you, that was during their “busy” season because everyone was submitting during that time, so it might be a bit quicker for you now. Best of luck!

Yes - at the very minimum it will take at least 75 days from the time they receive your app, to generate and send you the ATT, and at least 30 - 45 days for the results, plus at least 10 additional days to post the license after you pay the fee. Not sure why CA demands so much. I got my license posted in NY just days after I took the MPJE....oh well.

I am also from out of state and these are my timeline for your reference:

Application submitted/received by board: 3/29
Received my ATT: 7/12 (the letter was actually dated 5/18 but I changed the address so there was a delay)
CPJE: 8/8 (predate 8/20)
Received score letter: 9/4
Submitted license request 9/5, board received 9/6
License number on board website: 9/21

The time may differ slightly for everyone, just FYI.
Submit the application as soon as you can because you may need to provide additional paperwork (who knows XD) which may cause more delay. This can be a lengthy process and you might get frustrated. But it will pass before you know it! Good luck!!
