I have taken 6 crack PAT exams now and even though I feel like I have a better grip of the section - my score is still the same.
PAT 1- 18
PAT 2- 17
PAT 4- 17
PAT 5- 18
PAT 6- 19
PAT 7- 18

Feels like I just ended up where I started. Sometimes I do really well in all sections and then I dont have to time to finish the last one so I guess and sometimes the angle section screws me over!!! What to do?? Is this an okay score to be falling under. Exam in a week!!

How often are you testing yourself? And are you taking enough time to review why you got each question wrong?

I am exactly in the same situation after 8 exams.... i avg around 18 and 19..... I am planning to review all the exams throughly before doing the next test... hope that helps... i too have a week to improve and have no clue to do differently....

do wory u will score atleast an 18 on the real test. I naturally suck at pat and I scored 17-18 on 8 outof 10 cdp tests and 21s on two cdp tests. I ended up with 18 on real thing. Don freak out. Not everyone is born with a 3D autocad engine in their cerebral cortex. At the same time try to kill the sciences!

It is imperative that you review every wrong answer and why you got it wrong. The only section I felt didn't really help me to review was angle ranking. I truly believe this is how I finally got hole-punching. From screwing up on the first 3-4 tests and learning from my mistakes and trying to solve them again knowing the answer. Something clicks and your brain remembers similar patterns and it gets easier.

If you are thoroughly going over your wrong answers then I don't know what to say. Good luck! 😳

I have gone through some of the exams but I guess I need to spend more time looking at the ones I got wrong and then go from there. Its just annoying because PAT6 I got a 19 (11,10,12,13,15,8) and then on PAT7 I got a 18 (13,11,9,14,12,7) - the angle ranking and missing 3 from the cubes screwed me over and the last part I never have enough time left so I usually end up guessing on 5 of them.
