I'm graduating next month but because I wasn't a science major, I never took biochemistry. I completed the year of gen chem, physics and organic chem though. Since many of the medical schools I'm applying to require biochem, I figured I'd better take it in the fall... Since they will already have my transcripts, does it matter if I take biochem credit/no credit?? I want as little stress as possible since I'll be also working on my master's degree...

Thanks!

The schools that require biochem will ask you your grade in it when you go to interview, since this is one of the only upper division sciences you will have taken, it may hurt you if you don't take it for a letter grade. Also, since you are not a science major, it will look really good if you ace it, being that all of medical school is science based.
