CS grades out tomorrow!! WHAT TIME!?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I think we will get an email around 11. I will be more excited if I passed than on match day. Awaiting these results has been anxiety provoking.

SCORES ARE UP!!! just got email.. PASS!!! woohoo!!!! I swore I failed cause I screwed up 1 patient interation ( forgot her name as i entered haha) forgot to ask 5 patients about family history and didn't write it in my notes.. Forgot to do a bunch of "special tests" or ask a couple questions... But my English is great and my rapport was awesome...

Congrats to all who have gone through the waiting period!!!!

Pass! I took it early in Feb, and boy has the wait been long!

Thank God I don't have to endure that hell ever again! 👍

Of course we all get to go through this again with step 3 in a little over a year. Gotta love medical education!

Passed! Def thought I'd screwed that up. Phew!!

PASSED! I was one of the few who failed the first time around (messed up the ICE, and was somehow borderline on the CIS) Ended up knocking ICE out fo the park, "xxxxxxxx*" on both parts. I don't think I handled the test all that much differently this time around but whatever, It's been a nasty couple months of anxiety over this. I think I deserve a beer.

(I actually nearly **** my pants this morning when I opened up the score report and saw "FAIL". I looked down and was like "what the hell!? I didn't improve AT ALL from the first attempt! It's like I'm looking at my original score rep....... oh wait (scrolls up to look at date)... oops.")

PASSED! Got the e-mail on 4/27 at 9:57 AM EST.

Didn't look at the performance profile until later in the day. Bottom line - it doesn't matter as long as you pass. So happy to have passed on the first attempt.

That being said, I would advise everyone who will be taking the exam to use FA CS patient note format. I did that and got the highest marks (had an asterisk next to that area by the 'Higher Performance' section). It will definitely compensate if your Data Gathering is low - mine crossed into Borderline (scratching my head about that one). The patient note can and will pull up your ICE score.

I took mine in Houston - so I'll give my endorsement for that center. It was great - no difficulties with staff and had no issues with SPs whatsoever. Good luck to future CS takers and those who may be still waiting for scores.

What do you mean the ICE and the CIS?
