Hi I am a sophomore at UVA with a GPA of 2.88
I totally screwed up my first year first semester but my grades are steadily getting there.

So far my activities are strong but now I'm facing on what I should major in. I was thinking Biology but to be honest, i got a C+ in general Biology first semester and I'm nervous about majoring in it. I'm going to take the 2nd part this coming semester. I have Studio Art as another choice but not sure if that's a wise decision. I've done art since I was little and it's definitely something I enjoy. I figured an easy major could boost my GPA. Plus make me stand out? But I also want to take the highly recommended courses such as Cell Bio, Genetics and such. With the little high school credits I brought in, I don't think I'll be able to double major.

Which choices would be good for my situation?
A. Double major with Art and Biology
B. Major in Art minor in biology
C. Major in Art
D. Go for Biology (There's no art minor)

I'd go with option B. Majoring in art would be good for you since you enjoy it and it would raise your overall gpa. I also like the minor in biology, since that will give you the chance to raise your science gpa. I'm sure you know that you have to get that gpa up starting now. You have no room to be lazy now.

Hmm I'll do double majoring if thats a better choice even if it'll require me to take summer classes
