Cv

Throughout college and now into my career I have always kept a few of my high school honors on my resume/CV. I would never go as far as to list any activities I participated in that long ago, but if you happen to have been captain of a varsity team, won a prestigious scholarship, etc. while in high school, I think you should mention it.

I have been told over and over again that putting high school material on a resume/CV is taboo, but some of my achievements are still important to me and so I choose to include them. In the end, I would go with your gut.

If any of your accomplishments from high school directly contribute to your qualifications as a research assistant, then I don't see why you can't include it.

Just keep in mind, recent achievements will hold more weight, and you should never add things to your CV (high school or not) as mere filler.

Agreed. If you have significant research experience OR won national awards (e.g., you were a National Merit Scholar or something along those lines), then I would list it on a CV. Things like ECs, GPA, or SAT/ACT scores are irrelevant though.
