CWRU secondary essay length

Sorry to be repeating the same old question, but how long is too long for CWRU's secondary essay? Is it bad to go over 700 words? 800 words? Not clear what they mean by "2 pages."

2 pages to me always meant to me 1 page font 12 single spaced on msword. and thats what i did. cut and pasted.

i assumed by 2 pages, they meant 2 single-spaced pages. my essay was about 1.5 pages long, single-spaced (~1000 words). but i didn't intentionally make it that long, i just had a lot to say.

My essay was 702 words. It was refreshing to be able to write about something other than why I want to be a doctor blah blah blah blah...
