Hi everyone. I am planning on applying to dental school this cycle but worried my DAT scores aren't good enough. My GPA is a 3.9 (science and overall). I have tons of volunteer work and research experience. I feel that my only weakness is my DAT (particularly PAT). My scores are:
AA: 20
TS: 20
OCHEM: 20
GCHEM: 21
BIO: 20
RC: 21
QR: 17
PA: 17
Advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Congrats on your high GPA! I would consider calling dental schools that you are interested in applying to and ask them their thoughts regarding your DAT scores. That way you have a better idea as to whether or not a retake would be worth it. The only likely part of your DAT that may be of concern to some admissions committees is your PAT score. However, given your strong AA and TS, it may not be a problem. Nonetheless, I would definitely contact admissions at a few schools to ask. Good luck in the application cycle!
