When talking to Emergency Medicine folks use the terms EM and ED.

My first interview was Nov. 14th, last was Jan. 30th.
I was able to schedule most in Dec.
In Nov. I interviewed at the three programs close to my school and was able to do this while on rotation.
In Dec. I went everywhere and took the month off from rotations.
In Jan. I took two days off from my rotation and went on two interviews.

And leaft's experience is pretty much similar to all that I've heard from 4th years at my school.
Great post, esp. since I'm really considering in matching into TV medicine (or at least daytime soaps) rather than an allopathic residency
