Hey all,

for all those connected via the "interweb" or "series of tubes", i though it was interesting that Dr. Armstrong is now on Facebook. He's always been very easy to reach and prompt with answers via email, very approachable even though he's super busy.

If Lee Rogers is out there, you guys ever thought about doing CME via facebook?

The problem is Dr. Rogers likes to get paid for his work. A great man once said "He won't take a poop without getting paid." :meanie:

I'm sure Prof Armstrong manages his Facebook from his iPhone while riding his Segway around campus (watch out pedestrians!).

He does make himself rather easy to get a hold of.

The CME sponsor (APMA, IPMS, etc.) would have to agree to the Facebook venue in order to offer it. How many pods do you think use it? It may be too early to offer something like that, unless it's offered to residents only -- who may be more likely to have Facebook accounts.

My brother-in-law just went to work for Facebook in San Fran as a project manager (previously with Microsoft in Seattle). I can ask him about the intricacies of offering continuing ed like this.
