anyone having problem due to food coma? (probably this would be most applicable for those with 1pm test)

whenever i study during the day, after i eat (after about ~30mins to an hour), I get crazy food coma, I get mad lazy and tired and sleepy.

does anyone have the same problem? how did you guys deal with it? do you think this will happen in the real test? (i'm thinking it won't happen likely cos i would be too nervous about the test?)

I'm a little nervous about it too. Thinking I'l wake up around 9ish eat breakfast then take a nap until 11 or so and eat a slight snack right before. I usually concentrate pretty well right after a nap so hopefully that will work.

I stopped by McDonalds for breakfast the day of my exam thinking that I still had 20 minutes to find the test center (I was already on the street where the center was), only problem was I STILL couldn't find it and came running in at 7:55 (after a panicked call to the test center, I will be thanking Verizon's excellent 3g coverage for that) clutching a box of OJ in one hand, a bacon egg cheese biscuit in the other, a giant bottle of gatorade under one arm and a half full box of special K bars under the other.

I must've looked like an idiot to everyone in the waiting room.

A simple solution for postprandial somnolence:

Eat more protein less Carbohydrates or fats.
