Sure, just wondering if there's a particular direction you think he's misdirecting in/reads you think are sus/etc

The few that came to mind is the initial move from village reading samac to strong town reading her, that post explaining why feels stretched

Then now village reading zenge that isn’t clear to me why

rae is also off to an immediate solving start that I would call very rare for a first-time player thrust directly into a mafia role. I'll be careful with that since who knows, but that's my first impression.

This is also just who I am as a person though. I’m a problem solver, be them village or mafia problems.

I liked the nuance in his handling of April. It's a Zengey kind of perspective and provides a glimpse into his otherwise sometimes translucent processes (e.g., seeing someone as wolfy and town reading them for it).

Yeah, it has been a while and the game has changed A LOT since I played. None of this posting minimum. Not as much "tell me your reads MEOW" type of deal.

It was more game mechanic leaning, which I enjoyed.

These newer games are much harder for me as they aren't as heavily game mechanic directed.

JJJ-- only because it would take some boldness as wolf to lead this much in the thread, not saying it isn't possible, just seems less likely on day 1.

Middle ground (honestly just no clear village/wolf vibes from these peeps):

WZ-- posting but they don't feel as generally villagery as her typical village vibe, but has been some time since I have played.
genny- but then I always find her sus
april- but I have never played with her, so not sure how much I can trust my read right now.

DVM seems a little bit resistant to consensus at least with respect to posting attitude (perhaps what samac described as "pointy"), but their reads seem quite consensus. The three "getting sus" reads also come with "but" caveats.

Not sure what to make of the first tension. The caveats are a bit pingy.

I mean, the last time I played, people were fairly vocal about their village reads even with people dying at night. I don't think that really changes all that much this game.

Maybe it's just me. There are certain people who are likely to get nightkilled very early if they have a lot of village reads so I usually tend to understate my reads on them for a bit to try to prevent that. It probably doesn't actually work anyway.

Close enough. I tend to operate with a "town" vs. "not town" view, so everything south of green is varying degrees of "not town".
