Deferral Question

I am fortunate to be accepted at 2 medical schools but I want to defer for a year. Assuming that both let me, can I hold my place at both until next year and decide then? Or do I still have to tell AMCAS by May 15th where I want to go.

The question's really irrelevant. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to decide which school you'd rather go to in a year by May.
