well Ms. Dr. Q. . . . My favorite way to defer is to say . . . I really would like to play soccer in Hawaii for 1 year, do you care, Mr. Med School Dean, if I chill out and take PT classes there?? hehehe - Joined

Welcome to SDN!! Just call the school and ask what the proper procedure is. After you've been accepted, of course. :wink: You might ask how often deferrments are granted and what reasons are considered valid for requesting one.
