I submitted my ERAS application on 9/2 and have everything so far except for my transcript. I am applying Pediatrics and did a Peds CICU Sub-I last month for which I have yet to receive my grade. I was holding out to submit my transcript until I have that on it and talked to my attending from last month and should have it in about a week.

Should I submit my current transcript and then submit another one in a week or two when I have that grade or just wait? I feel like some places may hesitate to fully consider my file if they don't have a transcript with it and don't want to be overlooked. Are there any negatives to sending it now and then sending another when I have that rotation on it? Thanks for any input.

I would submit your transcript now. As has been discussed in other threads, your new documents will replace the previous one on ERAS.

Actually, I thought this thread was going to involve complaining that your school has not yet released your transcript. My school is taking forever, and it is slowly infuriating me.

I realize they get an updated transcript, was just apprehensive that some of the bigger name places might see I didn't have a Sub-I and get disregard my file. Just having a case of med student syndrome I suppose... Thanks for the input though. I'm going to request it ASAP to atleast get the ball rolling and will update it later. Good luck applying everyone.
