Hello,

I have a question about what happens after you get accepted. I just got accepted at my state school and I want to send in the deposit to hold my spot in case I don't get into my other schools that I have interviews at. Can schools tell that you have already sent a deposit to hold your spot in a different school. Does AMCAS show this? Thanks.

As far as I know, no schools know of any other schools at which you are holding spots until May 15. After May 15, each school has to submit to AMCAS a list of students that are currently holding spots in its incoming class, and I think other schools can check that info, but I'm not sure.

After May 15 anyway, you can only be holding 1 spot.
