Hi guys,

I am just going to be upfront and let anyone who is willing to help me that I am in desperate need of TFE and Hole punching. Its gotten to the point where I went and bought a hole puncher just so I can realize what mistakes I keep doing. For Crack Dat I pretty much cringe after seeing my scores (I am talking 16's) because of those 2 sections. Cube counting and angle ranking are my highest, as for pattern folding I'm okay. I've been taking a one hour test each day but apparently its not helping

Any help is appreciated.

For hole punching, are you using the grid method?

You need to pratice every single day! Go to datgenius and use their hole punching generator. Their hole punches are insanely hard and I'm able to tackle them after awhile.

If you have bootcamp use their TFE visualizer + hole punching but they aren't free.

@florida561 I've used the grid methods but not recently. It just frustrates me when crazy folding occurs and I'm left like wtf? thanks for the help, i'll continue to try this method

It just takes practice for both. For cube counting, use the generators every day. For TFE, its just about figuring out where things lie. The video and guide on datgenius are helpful datgenius.com/tfe

Hole punching is getting more difficult on the DAT lately and certainly won't be something you would see on ADA 2007. Make sure you practice it well with the right tool till you can unfold the paper comfortably.

You'll get there! PAT is honestly a challenge for everyone one way or another. Realize that even though it's hard, it's just a temporary pain and you can get through it. Ari has some great videos imo on Youtube

Hole punching generator on bootcamp is free. Just google "DATBootcamp generator". But, they are very hard (harder than bootcamp practice test), IMO. Anybody else finding them hard to do?

Hole punching on bootcamp is free? Didn't know, last time only the ange ranking was free lol. The generator on bootcamp is a piece of cake. The datgenius one is the better one to use, much harder. That's how I mastered hole punching.

I used datgenuis before but there was no time limit like in bootcamp. Anyone who is using it with time limit to see if they are quick enough?

I do them taking 30 seconds max. Most of them I finish in 15 seconds except for the super tricky ones.
