It's in the eye of the beholder, but you should do your research on each program's academic preparedness for their students and their overall costs. You can find this information online. UMich will arguably be "ranked" higher than UDM, but it's not official rankings.

If you're in state, UMich will be cheaper as UDM is a private school. If OOS, they will probably be around the same costs.
