Did anyone follow the Sn2ed schedule and get below a 30?

I am starting the Sn2ed schedule and plan to follow it closely except for the rereading the chapters part and the hat trick since I spend too long reading and I take notes in a separate notebook the first time reading. I am not good at making up questions and I don't really have time for the hat trick. Anyway my goal score is a 30 and I was wondering if anyone followed this plan and received less than that. Thanks in advance.

The schedule only provides structure and gives someone a basic framework. Following it does not guarantee a 30+ score. I don't think anyone can write up a schedule that guarantees a 30+ for everyone. At the end of the day, it comes down to the individual and the amount of work they put in.

I believe his schedule is just the "foundation".
Everyone has different ways of studying, so you should modify it a bit to make it better for "YOU".

Worddd!! True story. Hey man I appreciate this schedule; it's truly a foundation on which one can build their MCAT prep, modifying it as it suits them. Good work.

Thanks all for the replies. I guess from the lack of posters, it must be a testament to the schedule 🙂 Thanks SN2ed for the schedule. I ordered TPRH and EK 101 today.

I'm afraid I'm going to get bogged down on content like what happened last summer when I took the Kaplan course, and so far it seems the questions cover all of the content in the chapter. Would it be okay for one to do questions and refer to content as necessary? I take forever to read and some of the chapters are wordy and repetitive. But I thought I could go through the examples perhaps and make sure I get those right or understand them and then do the passages. I read all of the kaplan books and most of the TPR content books as well as worked through Nova's physics.

To be honest, if you did well in your pre-med courses,
my suggestions are:

1. Watch Chad's vids - finish in 15 days.
2. Read thru EK books
3. Do passages

TBR + Kaplan + TPR are too much if you can understand everything from Chad's vids.

Thanks for the reply. Yep I watched most of Chad's physics videos last summer, it helped me learn physics from scratch since I hadn't taken a physics course yet. I watched the sample gen chem but it seemed a bit slow. I know concepts but I don't have a lot of experience with MCAT style questions. I didn't have time to do any of the kaplan FLs and I only did 1 AAMC, so I had to void and I didn't have time to practice at all last semester. Actually writing this out makes it pretty clear what I have to do huh 😛 Thanks for the input 🙂 On to those passages then...

It would be hard for anyone to follow that schedule exactly the way it is and especially the rereading of the chapters plus all these problems in one day...I am following the 3-month, but I am estimating it will take me 4 1/2 months to complete it.

I think anyone who follows your schedule will get a 30+ as long as they don't cheat (not study hard).

If they can get a decent score in VR...

I second this.

His schedule should get you a 10+ on the sciences, but verbal is something that is much tougher to excel in. Even with months of practice and excellent review, I still haven't hit the 8+ mark. Some people are just weak readers (haven't opened a book or magazine since elementary school, so I'm not blaming anyone but myself).

I have the same issue with VR. I am 'praying' so I can get an 8+ on it.
