Did you apply to DO school too?

I didn't, I only applied to a few MD schools this time around. I figure, if I don't get in, I can always cast a wider net next time around.

Can they ask this during an interview? "So you're interested in medicine.... have you applied to DO schools as well?" If so, what is a tactful answer to this?

Just curious as to other's opinions. 😎

I personally don't think many MD schools will ask this question. It seems more appropriate the other way around (DO schools asking if you applied to an MD).

In either case I would just be honest and say that your overall goal is to become a physician

DO schools do ask you if you applied to MD schools. I just answered that I did, no biggie.
