I was just wanted to know (from mainly those who took the actual MCAT already) how they thought the difficulty of the following practice material compared to the actual thing:

1.) EK 101 Verbal passages

2.) EK Biology 1001 passages

3.) BR science passages

Only used the EK 101 Verbal but I think it was pretty accurate. In terms of practice, it'll definitely do the job of getting used to the MCAT timing and tricks. A few of their answers were too ambiguous (or even wrong, IMO) but the point is to practice, not worry about one particular question. As far as scores go, I think the EK was a little harder than the AAMC tests.

For most EK Bio passages, you could probably get 80% of the questions right from just your background knowledge without reading the passages. The questions that required you to actually dig into the passage to get correct were sparse and generally easy

The 1/29 test (and supposedly 1/30) were very heavy on the digging into the passage type questions. Many questions didn't even require background memorization.

I think TPR was much closer to the actual MCAT than EK. I haven't used Berkley so can't help you there. But EK is handy anyway since you'll still learn new things and get old concepts drilled
