As you can see...they don't walk, they roll 😛 Adorable picture, by the way 👍

Yeah, the breeder said she had to walk around dragging her stomach on the ground. Personally, I was surprised that her back legs could even reach the floor!

<--- Well, I've got my pet hedgehog, currently preparing for his yearly dyeing. He loves being treated like an Easter egg (really he does, don't call PETA).

good lord timmythewonderd you have alot of pets.

i know, it is amazing we are not broke from the vet bills and the rat and kibble costs! and, i just added another one - i brought home a 3 legged green anole from south carolina. he made the car ride in a classico spaghetti sauce jar, which stunk of garlic, so my grandmother named him "Guido"
i must take pics of him and post them soon!

i am totally gonna be one of those little old ladies who has like 25 cats if someone does not direct me to an AA (Animals Anonymous) meeting STAT! 😉

No that's not a bat - come on don't you know your flying mammals? He's a flying squirrel (though he doesn't fly so much as fall gracefully) and he lives in our bedroom. He has a cage, but it's like putting him in prison. He grabs onto the bars and shakes them - it's very heartbreaking. So the solution is to let him sleep in a Michigan State Christmas stocking nailed to the wall in our bedroom all day and when he wakes up at night he flies around the room.

he's a dwarf chinese hamster... and the funniest thing is he loves grape tomatoes 🙂

<----------------- So he's not really mine, but I was his dog walker for over three years so we're really close. I had to move 3000 miles away and miss him terribly. Last time I visited he grabbed a hold of my arm (with his mouth) so I wouldn't leave

That is awesome! Where does one get a pet flying squirrel? You don't generally see them at the petstore or the animal shelter. I'd love one (and I'm not going to show this to my husband because I think he'd go right out and buy one) but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get along well with my cats. Although with my cats the squirrel would probably be smarter and just torture them.

Here's my puppy "Bob Marley," Marley for short. I'll be taking him and my gf to med school with me.

Here he is at 8 weeks old.

This one is more recent at 3 months, although he just turned four months today.

Awww, very cute (but what puppy picture isn't?). I can't wait till I can get another dog; my parents have three goldens from two generations, and my wife's parents have a dog from the third!

We got our flying squirrel from a breeder, there are a few crazy people throughout the country that raise a few at a time, Google works if you're really interested in finding one... He's a Southern flying squirrel, technically.

He's basically mixed. We know that he has Border Collie, Chow, and Aussie Shep mixed in him and we're thinking another breed, possibly two breeds, mixed in there too lol.

Our baby boxer Jules shortly after having his ears cropped.

How cute! You should read the book "Marley and Me," the golden retriever is named after Bob Marley as well.

This is Sophie, a longhaired mini dachshund...she's pregnant with a litter of puppies, one of which will be ours when they are born. They're due in early April, and we get to pick ours up at the beginning of June! (This pic is actually from last time she was preggo a few years ago...she was huge!)

That's how we got the idea for the name. My girlfriend has the book, read it, and loved it.

I think it's a hedgehog.

That's what I thought too, but I didn't know you could have one as a pet.

Which one will require more attention?

BTW, the look Marley is displaying means he is about to poop, is already pooping, or has just finished pooping. haha

You should all forget about medical school and become vets

LOL indo, I think its the just finished pooping face. As for who would require more attention, Marley can pretty much take care of himself these days puppy school has brought him a long way, and my gf is pretty low maintenance (she takes care of me! i would starve without her). So it would be a toss up, but I will give more attention to my gf since I would like to avoid being smacked upside the head if she reads this post.

Bro, something more along the lines of this...

...would be a bit easier to handle. 👍

um just use any image editor (Paint) or upload with something that automatically resizes for you (flickr, facebook, etc.).

How do I post an image? I go to the link where it says "insert image" but what I am suppossed to type in the "text to be formatted?"

Scalp- the pic has to be online somewhere so that you can link to it directly with a URL like IMG]http://www.anything.com/yourpic.jpg[/IMG]. If you only have it on your comp then you have to post it as an attachment instead.

I should add: Flickr is a great site to use for this since 1) it's free, 2) you already have an account if you have a yahoo account, and 3) it automatically saves several different sizes of the pic so you can insert a smaller version instead of the original several megapixel one.
