Diversity/Adversity Secondary Ideas

Hey all. Like all people on here, I'm struggling a little bit with these secondaries. I have a few ideas that can be applicable for these prompts and just wanted some feedback. Thanks for reading (if you do).

1. Adversity: A particular phrase in my childhood stands out as othering me from my ethnic group. I felt in between my ethnic group and trying to fit in with the majority. I would talk about how through becoming a proficient public speaker I was able to learn why this phrase hurt me so much, through my volunteer experiences learn to celebrate ethnic heritage, and combine these two interests to create a culture of an organization, while reconciling my identity as an ethnic minority.
2. Diversity: I've worked in governmental health policy. Through policy meetings I've seen how different ethnic groups have different health issues requiring varied policy to address them. Then through my volunteer experiences, I've seen how people of color have felt discrimination within medicine. Thus, I hope to address these health disparities in different ethnicities not only through my individual interactions but from a policy standpoint as well.
