Anyone who interviewed on/around 10/12 hear anything yet??
I'm getting sick of compulsively checking my e-mail and then being disappointed because I haven't heard ANY news yet.

How'd you like KCOM compared to DMU? I cancelled my interview there the last minute. I didn't think a very small town like Kirksville would have suited me. Hopefully we hear from DMU manana.

Super bummed!!!!!!! I got waitlisted for DMU. Any tips on what to do up until May so that I can get bumped up the list (if that's possible) or if a letter of intent would help.

Hey-
Kirksville was surprisingly very nice--except for the fact that it was in pretty desolate. If the school was moved into a city, there would be no doubt that it;d be where I would go. It was very family oriented too, and maybe a little too much so. I know I want to go to med school in a city, so I don't think I will be attending there although I did get accepted.

Sorry to hear about this...but not all is lost. The important thing is to be persistent. Never give up and you should be fine. Good luck to you and congrats to all those who have been accepted. It truly is a great accomplishment. 😀
