Portier is trying to be cool b/c we told him only SDN Biatches use bible verse as their quote, but he made two fatal mistakes. Mistake numero uno: Quoting a french guy...not cool, we don't call them freedom fries now b/c we like the french. Mistake two, backing down. You got made fun of for having the bible quotes, but if you had stuck by them, that would have been cooler. I only pick on portier on SDN for two reasons: reason 1, he beats me up in real life. Reason 2, I'm jealous that he has the potential to get laid, while I can only dream about it. By the way Portier, did I tell you my anna nicole smith dream? It was awesome. 👍

I feel the need to buy the surgery book too, but I decided I would let my wife eat for an extra two weeks instead. Pathology book, so hot want to touch the heinie. If you don't want to stay with a student, there are a few hotels downtown (5-10 min drive depending on traffic) like the Savery, Hotel Fort Des Moines, Holiday Inn by Mercy hospital...or you can stay somewhere in west des moines by all the shops, and that will be 10-15 min away. So, if you stay at a hotel, and don't want to rent a car, make sure they have a shuttle service, or you can take a cab. The most economic option would be to stay with a student, but if you wanted to stay more than a night, staying at a hotel might be the better choice. Let them know you're a student here for an interview because they might have special rates for you.

The renaissance savery used to have a special for interviewing students. It was fifty dollars and their shuttle would take you to DMU the morning of your interview as well as take you back and forth to the airport. The room was small but the hotel was nice and they had great room service. Some students also volunteer to have interviewees stay at their house/apartment. I would recommend that since they can answer any questions and will also drive you to your interview. There is also a holiday inn relatively close to the school, not sure if they have a shuttle though...Good luck on your interview!

I'd trust lucky cause she knows everything.......but you can always contact the school, and they can give you the list of students to stay with. Sometimes that's better because the student can answer some of your questions and help you relax before your interview!! Either way.....good luck!

So I just finished the obesity lecture and I couldn't help but get hungry and put a small tombstone in the oven for myself.............mmmmmmm pizza at 1:30 in the am that outta show the nutritionists and pediatricians that no matter what they do I will continue to be fat.........I love you coffee, and even more I love anorectal fistulas and abscesses..........and the puborectalis. Six and half hours till freedom, and 41 hours until sweet tailgating............ and iowa party chicks 👍

On days like today I remember what it was like to not have to focus on everything but fun stuff...................like we don't have to stay up til 3 am everyday studying for a test monday.......................which means in now 7 hours I will be drunk and hitting on a girl much to young for me, but a prime number, who probably has some sort of std..........thank god for prophylatic antibiotics........................this guy needs to just stop..............the only person who even understands him is Lucky because she made his slides and wrote the book he got his info from.................Hanging low and left is up 31 to 0 against I LIKE BUTTER.
