hey guys, DNR according to UW includes : NO intubation along with the usual criteria.
HOWEVER, according to CF 100 cases of ETHICS, he says DNR - you can still intubate.

Anyone know for sure??
Thanks alot,

I don't know what FA/UWorld says, but generally a DNR prevents advanced airway management (any intubation), mechanical ventilation (don't put them on a ventilator), and chest compressions. It can also include electrical therapy including defibrillation or synchronized cardioversion. Basically, comfort care only (passive oxygenation, suctioning, pain/nausea medications).

If you can consider it "artificial life support", it's probably off-limits.
