I am trying to think of ways to "update" schools, when the time comes. And besides my fall grades, I don't think I am going to have anything else to tell.

I already have a DO letter, and lots of EC's, volunteer experience, etc.

I was thinking of getting another physician LOR. The letter would come from the same office where my DO letter came from, but from an MD, who is the senior partner.

Does this sound okay?

Any other creative ways to update??

Sounds great. Take the opportunity to send additional letters of interest to the schools as well. Highlight some things that you've been doing and what you really like about their school (make it sound as if you're discovering new things to like... enthusiasm is contagious, and you want them to be enthusiastic about you!) Just don't suck up...ie I like that you have air conditioned anatomy labs, because I like air conditioning and will work extremely well when I'm not sweaty.

Seriously, the MD letter will be seen as a positive thing. I had 2 MD and 1 DO letter and it was looked at favorably @ WVSOM.
