I have a degree in medical laboratory science and when planning my application for the next cycle I was unsure how my courses would be classified. All my courses were all technically taken from the “Allied Health” school of the university and their course number indicates that. However, many of them were more BCPM focused, some courses that I felt were BCPM were:

Biochemistry (Chem)
Physiology (Bio)
Immunology (Bio)
Blood bank (Bio)
Clinical Chemistry (Chem)
Clinical Microbiology (Bio)
Urinalysis (Bio)
Hematology (Bio)

There was also a Phlebotomy course which i’m leaning toward being more of a health science.

Can anyone give me advice on the best way to classify these courses?

This is what I'd suggest:

Biochemistry (Chem)
Physiology (Bio)
Immunology (Bio)
Blood bank (HEAL)
Clinical Chemistry (HEAL)
Clinical Microbiology (HEAL)
Urinalysis (HEAL)
Hematology (HEAL)
