Hello guys, so I just took a PCAT for the first time and here are my preliminary scores.
VA - 52%
BIO - 69%
RC - 41%
QA - 72%
CHEM - 88%
Composite - 70%
RC and VA are low, because English is my second language (moved to US 3.5 years ago) and the passages were a lot harder than on practice exams!
I do not have any volunteer experience because non of the hospitals around had any open positions. However, I have good customer service and leadership skills. I do supervise up to 25 people team, depending on the event. And I am also going to have a strong recommendation from my boss and Org. Chem professor.
Here are my grades:
GPA 3.77
General Chemistry I - A
General Chemistry II - A
Organic Chemistry I - A
Organic Chemistry II - A
Calculus - A
Biology - A
Zoology - A
Humanities - A
Speech - A
Macroeconomics - A
Psychology - B
Anatomy & Physiology I - B
Anatomy and Physiology II - B
And I am still taking classes now and have to take some during the spring. Planning on applying to UIC, SIUE and RFUMS.
What do you guys think?
Thanks for your input!
