On my last semester prior to graduation around 2 years ago, I took Orgo 2 but ultimately decided to withdraw from the course due to my relatively poorer academic performance that semester (due to death of a close friend). Because Orgo 2 wasn't a requirement for my degree (engineering), I graduated anyway.

Fast forward 2 years, I decided to take orgo 2 this summer, since I'm applying to schools this year, but it was at a community college due to financial constraints. Anyways, I got my grade back, and I received an A, which is good but given the context of it, I'm starting to regret my choice of institution and that it might look like I'm taking the easy way out

Honestly I would not stress it, it wont keep you from receiving an interview plus if they do for some strange reason decide to ask about it in an interview you can easily explain what happened.
