Do Physicians Face Age Discrimination?

We all know that age discrimination is rampant in the work force, especially in corporate America. However, do physicians face significant age discrimination that makes finding a good job later in the career difficult? If I want to find a job in my 40s, will that present a barrier?

Its usually the reverse in this field, with patients feeling more secure dealing with a seasoned doctor (read: more experienced).
