just wondering if you take the mcat more than once, will DO schools take the best score from each section of all exams taken?like if I got a 9 in the BS section of the first exam and a 10 on the second, wand for PS the first time I got a 10 and the second I got a 9 will they take the 10's for both sections giving me a cumulative score? I bombed the PS section of the mcat pretty bad as I ran out of time and ended up missing a few questions. When I registered to take the next one I focused on that section heavily with content and getting my timing down. Although my practice scores for the other 2 sections never dropped I have this fear that I will go up in one section and down in the others which I know is very possible. I know some allopathic schools do this but I was wondering if any DO schools do as well. thank you

thank you MLT. I will also check the CIB but I don't remember them listing that on there.

thanks again, I will contact some admissions commitee's and see what they say. I will def post it in the thread you posted as well

Really? I thought I remembered reading on the forumn that some do schools did this

Then why did you have to ask? And why would it matter? You took your MCAT, did your best, and now you have to apply. If they take YOUR composite, they take everyone's, which is a wash, with the only advantage being retakers who are inconsistent between the disciplines.
