Do they recycle test passages?

I've definitely read 2 of the passages from CBT 5 before (the one on Picasso and the one about the K-T extinctions). Ive never taken the AAMC tests though.... could it be possible that it was on my verbal section from when i took the MCAT the first time?

How old are these AAMC CBT tests?

They do recycle passages and that's the reason you're not allowed to talk about your test too specifically on these boards.

However the AAMC tests are retired passages so they shouldn't be exact passages you would see from the real thing but in the reverse order to you, when I took my first go at the MCAT one of my verbal passages was almost verbatim a passage from one of the AAMC's FL's for about half the passage and then it changed up a little.
