Do you leave right after the interview?

Hi! I live in Vancouver and I have to fly to three cities in Eastern USA.
I have three interviews in a row, with a day in between them and I am just about to purchase my plane ticket!

My question is, do I leave the same day I finish my interview at a school?
or, is there something else happening after the interview.....?
(if so, are those extra events worth staying and paying for the night?)

After the interview, you would've asked all the questions and received a formal tour of the school...not sure what you're expecting...theres no after party lol. If you're staying in that city night before/after the interview, then pick up the local or ask the dental students what there is to do in that particular area, I'm sure they'll be in tune with whats going on. People usually fly out right after interview. I did the samething and people who were staying in my hotel left right after interview. (if the interview is done for example at 2, book your flight for around 4:30-5 ish). Unless you want to stay wherever you are to check out the area. I think it's best if you get there 2nights before interview just to take some rest and go to the area the day before the interview and find the address to the school and just relax and then leave right after the interview!

ooh okk. i'm not flying, but i'm taking the bus/train to my interview the night before. i was wondering if it was okay for us to bring our suitcase with us to the interview. will that look kinda awkward?

Not at all. You can leave it in a room that they show you. I have seen people bringing their stuff and schools know that students leave after interview. It doesnt look awkward no worries 🙂
