Do you recommend a&p 2?

Im currently taking anatomy and physiology upper level 1 and its difficult. I know that its greatly recommended, but at this point, i dont want to take a recommended course and earn a low grade. Instead of ap 2 i may take another 300-400 level bio? Please advise. Thanks!!

I personally really enjoyed my A&P sequence. I also feel that it really helped cushion my bio score on the DAT

That's pretty solid. I'm not sure how helpful A&P II is for dental school (I take it next semester), but I want to say it's not as helpful as some other classes (micro, biochem, immunology, ...) On a side note, while it may not necessarily be easier than A&P II, I recommend you take Histology. It has made my life much easier.

I'm considering histology as well. How does zoology sound?

How was the lab portion at your university? The lab is brutal here, but the lecture is doable.

The lab was strict anatomy. Bones, muscles, etc. The physiology came in lecture.

Anatomy comes down to simple memorization. It came pretty easy for me because I'm an exercise physiology major and take genuine interest in the human body.

A&P in my opinion is a must. Dental school physiology is a more detailed.
I would do it and work your butt off but take it in a not so hard semester. But it will give you good prep for dental school

Depends on what you want. You have taken a bunch of classes that will help you later on, but the more the better imo. If you did well in your other bio classes, I don't see why you couldn't in Histology or Immuno. On the other hand, if zoology is more interesting or even a less stressful class, why not go for it?

Yes, i definitely agree. i just dont want to lessen my chances of getting into schools just for this... even though its not too big of a deal, if it gives me an upperhand, then i can work my butt off
