See what I am talking about? My goal is to be conversational in all the romance languages except romanian. I think it's definitely feasible. 🙂

You mention that you would like to be "conversational in all the romance languages except romanian". Does this include Asturian, Catalan, Galician, Piedmontese, Sicilian, and Occitan? Or do you just mean French, Italian, Portugues, and Spanish?

You forgot a few hundred italian dialects. 😉

I obviously meant only the main romance languages not every conceivable dialect with a latin base. 🙂

Make sure you pronounce "Ich" properly. When I was learning German, nothing pissed the profs and other Germans off more than when people pronounced it "Ick" or "Ich".
