I dunno man. Think of the families that don't even blink at paying for multiple $250,000 private college educations for their children. Two grand to feel certain their kid didn't **** up their essays? 100% worth when you have that kind of wealth.Good God. That has to be one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever seen. Are they affiliated with SDN? Even if my dad was Bill Gates I wouldn't spend $2500 for someone to edit my application for anything.

I found out last week that an application I screened was purchased/edited for about that amount.
It was actually awful.
Awful as in lacking substance/person had no ECs? Or awful like it was written badly, confusing/no narrative?I found out last week that an application I screened was purchased/edited for about that amount.

Or maybe awful as in.. Things won't turn out well for that applicant.Awful as in lacking substance/person had no ECs? Or awful like it was written badly, confusing/no narrative?
I couldn't tell from the ap.I still don't get how you can possibly detect that (at least before an interview) unless the person gave a shout out to the editing service at the end of his app.
Awful as in "all spin, all the time."Awful as in lacking substance/person had no ECs? Or awful like it was written badly, confusing/no narrative?
I'm not so sure. Regardless of how much money you have, that's still spending $2500 on something that's literally free. I'd bet that you would get the same (if not better) comments and revisions from people that offer to review essays on SDN. At least if you're spending lots of money on the fancy college, the fancy college provides something that they value (prestige or whatever) that they could not obtain without the money.I dunno man.
