Hi!

Here's my situation - applied to BU in Nov 04, got decline letter in Dec 04, retook part 1 in Dec 04, improved score from 85 to 95.

Will BU reconsider my application based on the new score (for program starting this year)?

u have an excellent score.........no reason why BU shdnt reconsider ur application. Infact improving ur score from 85 to 95 shd be considered as an achievement !!! When did u re apply to BU ?

Call BU or email them asap and send in your score report today after confirming that your reapplication will be considered.You definitely have a good chance with that score.Good luck. 👍

I think you should mail dr.Aishari and let her know that you have improved your score and politely ask her if you cold still be considered for 2005.

I know a friend of mine with a 96 who is a reapplicant and has been asked to wait.

Call them and mail them

Hi Dipali,
I don't think that should be a problem. I applied in 2002 with a score of 85. Reapplied in 2003, was on the waiting list. retook my part I in dec. 2003, got 91. reapplied in 2004, got an acceptance letter in oct. '04.
SO, don't worry about it. u definitely have a good chance of getting in.

my case was reconsidered in BU.I got 247 in TOEFL and my file was rejected.i requested them and said that i'm taking it again. and they've called me for interview.so i think u'll hear from them soon.
