Does the current PS section have more calculations than a Gold Standard exam?

So I keep seeing people complain about how the new PS has all these extra calculations etc. Is it about as tedious as a Gold Standard exam in terms of calculations. Ugh I need to stop reading all this hype about the PS and just crush it...😎

I hope it's nothing like the Gold Standard exams. I took the free one last week and got a 12 on verbal, but a 5 on PS. I nearly died.

When I took the MCAT, I didn't feel like there were a ton of calculations at all on PS. Infact, I finished it with about 15 minutes to kill.

My impression from people discussing calculations in the PS section is multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting decimals. The easy fix for this is scientific notation.

I haven't heard of a lot of intense calculations.

All I know is I took GS#4 and on that PS there were over 25 calculations...some quite a few steps.

I was able to get 42/52 for a 10 though..so I'm hoping that is good enough for a 10 on the real PS. Nothing left to it but to do it!

If you're scoring that on GS, you will not get less than a 12 on the real thing. A 10 is pretty good for GS.

Just got PS 11 and BS 11 on Gold Standard 4...seemed like the bio had some obscure crap on it and the PS had a laughable amount of calcs...enough to prepare me for thursday I hope👍
