No -- weaving is under the heading of Fine Arts. And you don't learn about buoyancy, because if you did, it would be "floating on top of water" basket weaving instead of underwater.
what about neutral buoyancy? you can be underwater but not sinking if you've got the mad skills.
At my school the weavers always sunk to the bottom. They left the buoyancy for the physics jocks.
it's about the course CONTENT, not the department it's taught in.
