Does USC calculate their own GPA?

does USC calculate their own gpa? different than pharmcas? like repeats. does usc take the higher grade

Back in 2010/2011, I spoke with a USC pharmacy school representative during a pre-pharmacy club meeting at my school and he said that if you repeated a class, they would take the higher grade.

so if i repeated a calc lass that was 7.5 units with a calc class that was 5 units, what would happen
