Is anyone else in the same boat as I am? It took me about 9 hours to complete the application but I am stalling in terms of submitting it. Not sure why but for some reason I keep feeling as though I am missing something. I keep going back to check it and everything seems fine but not sure.:scared:

Well as madonna said.. Freedom comes when you learn to let go 🙂

Yep 🙂
On another note, you can update your pharmapplicants profile if you feel you need to do something more 😛

Haha I'm creating one now. I'm trying to come up with a login though. But your sidebar thing says PharmApps: delano2000 so hey there's your username lol

lol don't you use the same pw for everything? I tried to do that whole different pw for different sites thing but that failed early in my childhood so I picked something and stuck with it. live and learn delano 😛

I used to but nowadays everybody is getting a little too strict with requiring you to use special characters or needing one with an uppercase letter in it along with some numbers. Now I have to write these down to keep track of it.

Submit it and work on those supps. If any of the schools in your sig have rolling admissions, it's best to apply early so you have the best chance of getting in.

Most of them do have rolling admissions. I am planning on doing one final review on Monday then submit afterwards.

Yeah thats true. It's funny because that actually produces the opposite effect of extra security if it pushes people to have to write down their passwords. But yeah just a suggestion if you still feel jumpy and wanna do something else lol. But yeah you'll be fine (regarding pharmcas), so don't worry too much 🙂

And you have plenty of time, pharmcas doesn't forward completed apps until the first week of August even if you submit it now. So if you want to keep it open for a while and double check it another time when you haven't been staring at it for hours, it won't change anything, so take your time. Oh and yeah, in case you want it: http://www.pharmapplicants.com/forgotpass.php

off-topic but just a suggestion:

try to avoid signing up with an email that is "crude"; the best thing to do is probably to use your school email.

by crude, i mean stuff like naughty_azn69 or sexiiboi, etc, schweet_babix, or x_x_angelz_x_x, etc. So if you have something like that, just make a new email for pharmcas purposes and forward it to your primary:laugh:

Oh dear lord help us if somebody uses an email like that.

I think I just want to ensure they get the LORs and the transcripts first and before I submit.

I will check the link out lol.

 My email address has my name and some numbers in it. That's all. Even though the sexiiboi one is appealing.

I subscribe to the school of thought that "you never get a second chance to make a good first impression." So you can imagine my horror when we receive emails from prospective students who use inappropriate email addresses.

Let's get right to it. Here's a sampling of some of my favorites:

  • BigBootyQT4U@...
  • Vodkagirl@...
  • HottieDoc@...
  • greysanatomy33@...
  • SixtyEightPlus1@...
And a few others I can't print here.

'nuff said. 🤣

I'm actually on the same boat as you. I had it finished for awhile now and all my LORs are completed. I'm just waiting on those transcripts to be received. I heard they don't send out the app until everything is received?

Yes. I am waiting until all my LORs and transcripts are received before I submit. That way they won't have an excuse to stall the verification process.

It's called PROFESSIONAL school for a reason. :meanie:

I use my school email for everything just to avoid a bias, and there isn't even anything wrong with my personal email. It just has a reference to my undergrad athletic team, and I don't want schools to think I'm corny, or in the case of UF, flat out hate me since the teams are in-state rivals. lol

I use my personal email but it's just my name with a series of numbers. Can't go wrong there.

Maybe... what if the series of numbers happen to be a 6 and then a 9? :meanie:

Yeah, email addresses without extra numbers look more professional.

If I remember correctly, I submitted my PharmCAS application, but I could still log in to see about the LORs and the transcripts. If I were you, I would submit the application right now since it's done. Might as well get it over with, especially if some of the schools have rolling admissions. You're doing this awfully early (SOOO much earlier than I did), so once they get your information you'll be good to go.
Just do it!

I am actually happy I did not submit it yet. Had some major changes to make to the application because of an issue with one of my courses. So I just made the changes and I am feeling a little better now so will submit it within the next few days.

Did Pharmcas receive your LORs & transcripts?

Ahhh, I'm so close to hitting the "e-submit" button. All of my LORs and transcripts are received but something is holding me back!

All my LORs are received but I am not sure what's taking so long with the transcripts. I requested them around the 14th.😕

Mine took awhile too. I'm sure its because lots of people are requesting transcripts.

They actually got it from one of my schools today. Still waiting for the 2nd one. I think I might go back up to the school and resubmit the request. They didn't log it the first time so I have no idea if they even processed it.

hey guys quick question i still haven't finished all my prerequisites but i will be done by spring 2011 and i am taking my pcat in October. Should i wait till i have my pcat to send my applications? Im finishing some summer classes and should i wait till their grades are up on my transcript to send it out to pharmcas?

Nope, submit your app as soon as possible. You can request to have your PCAT scores sent to PharmCAS. You can add the date you anticipate taking the test and just add the CID once you register for it in Sept. In the coursework section of PharmCAS you should add all in progress/planned courses and once the Academic Update window opens up in December, then you add the grades for Summer and Fall semesters.

I learned of this while I was applying for jobs when I was younger and I was putting down my email KamikazeKillin@. It hit me that this email has to look horrible to my potential employers. I bet they were picturing someone going postal at work with that type of email address. I couldn't imagine using it on my pharmcas rofl.

I heard from a friend today that we cannot start on the supplemental application of a specific school until we submit the PharmCAS? 😕

What I did was that I already started on my PharmCAS, and I visited the specific school and start on its supplemental application.

After I heard her said that, I was confused whether I was on the right track.:xf:

That must be school dependent (I haven't heard of that). UoP allows you to complete the supp app and send it to them before submitting the PharmCAS app. They just won't consider it complete until they also receive the PharmCAS app as well. I am submitting my supplemental app tomorrow and will e-submit PharmCAS on Thursday.

So finally I e-submitted my application and managed to send out the supp. app for UoP and the application for SUCOP.😀

Good luck man! I wish you the best with your application. Let's hope we nail an interview! :xf:
