Hi SDN, I'm at a US allopathic school and I just got my family medicine site assigned and I'm with a DO practitioner at a site I really like! I am interested in pursuing family medicine in the future. I'm not sure how to put this in a politically correct way, but does it matter if it's a DO writing a letter of recommendation vs MD? I asked around and seemed to get mixed or vague responses. Genuinely curious and want to know your thoughts.
