So I know that dent/med/grad schools do value WORK EXPERIENCE (i.e. not volunteering), but just how much?
I know that a certain amount of work experience is considered valuable prior to entering graduate institutions, but is too much a bad thing?
I may be overthinking things here, but since dentistry schools (especially private) are first and foremost a business at heart, would they see a full-time working student as incapable of paying the dental school tuition?
I'm not gonna lie, my family was faced with an unfortunate financial situation a few years back (okay now though) and I had to pretty much drop all courses in the latter part of my 3rd year to work full time and help support the family.
So....how bad does this look to you?
