I have not read the book, but I have heard enough of my friend's talk about their med school interview experiences to know there is often a big difference between how med schools interview (generally) and how dental schools interview. I'm sure much of the information in the book would be helpful in much the same way any interview book might be helpful, but the specifics might be different.

Even within dental schools, there isn't a completely standard type of interview. The process and attitude at schools varies a lot, and sometimes even the questions can vary although you'll almost always get the standard 3-5 questions, which can often fill up almost all of the interview time:

Why do you want to be a dentist?
Tell me about yourself.
What is your weakness? / What are your strengths?
Why should our school choose you?
Why do you want to come to our school?
