Dress as you do for classes. I don't think that this requires some special costume that is outside your everyday look.
Have ya been to a college class room lately??
Man I swear some people jump out of bed and come right in..
How lazy can someone be to wear sweat pants or pajamas to class?
If I ran a college I would require business casual for all students.
/I am a jerk.

You'd appreciate the service academies.

Honestly I think we need discipline like that
By the time you are in college you should be able to get up in a timely manner to wear something other than what you slept in..
I have never set foot in public in pajamas..
I never been to school ever in pajamas.

It isn't much to ask adults to spend 15 minutes to look like a decent person when you step outside the house..

If I was a boss and my employee showed up in Pajamas they would get fired
I would dismiss them prior to entry
(Not a warehouse job, a service job like sales)

If you're hot, your birthday suit is fine. If you're not, you're gonna want this:

Im sure Loma Linda or """""""Liberty"""""""" will suit you well.

You probably look awful in sweats and are projecting. hope you end up at a school with mandatory lectures and everyone wears sweatpants

In case this is a serious question: wear what you normally wear to class. Unless you normally wear pajamas or workout clothes or t-shirts with something "inappropriate." Then, maybe step it up a notch to jeans and a decent shirt.

Why do you assume that a persons clothing selection correlates with insufficient discipline?
I wake up around 4:30 AM to jog, cook breakfast, and study before heading to class. I have plenty of time to dress more formally if that were a necessity but it's not. I am paying large sums of money for my seat in class and I am not bound by any standard of formality while on campus. I enjoy learning while swimming in a sea of soft cotton and thus, I go to class that way. If you were a "boss," you probably wouldn't have pajama-clad college students showing up for work in an actual professional environment.

I promise you are overthinking this! I doubt your professors really care or will give much importance into what you are wearing (assuming they know you and your normal attire). Wear what you usually wear when you see them!

Discipline != dressing nice.
I have gone out in pajamas and sweats numerous times. I am ready to just be comfortable at the end of the day. There's a difference between looking like a slob and dressing casually.

This thread has been very entertaining indeed...

I remember when I asked my professor for my letter, I remember him commenting on the fact that it smelled like weed after I stepped in...
Oops..

One of my professors wears slippers to lecture. I think I'm fine showing up in sweatpants if I had a lazy morning.

My linear algebra professor didn't even bother with slippers. He went barefoot for morning lectures...
