Question for the ladies, I'm looking for comfortable dress shoes (preferrably flats) in a taupe/nude/neutral color to wear in the hospital. I know Danskos are the best for comfort, but they don't have many nude shoes that are dress shoes.

Have you guys find nude flats that you like and are comfortable somewhere? Please advise me if you have!

So no one knows? Are there no females posting here? Surely I'm not the only one who's ever wondered about fashionable yet comfortable shoes.

I usually buy shoes from Born, Ecco, Dansko, etc. I would suggest looking on Zappos or Onlineshoes.com in the comfort shoes category- I don't really know much on flats as for some reason they never really work well and since I'm not a big skirt person I usually just wear slacks with a comfortable dress shoe or Mary Jane.

I just bought some eccos that I'm in love with and I also loved the aetrex. They are both super comfy brands.

I'm a fan of Clarks (esp. their Privos line)...while some of their stuff is too casual, they always have shoes that are dressy enough for the hospital but have more cushioning (Privos feel like dressy sneakers). Sometimes they have nude/tan colors, depending on the season.

My favorite brand for clinic is Cole Haan. They usually look really cute and formal, but have nike air soles so they are super comfortable. One caveat: they are NOT comfortable enough for a day in surgery.

I'm a fan of aerosoles...they have that cushy padding, and there are some pretty nice styles (imo at least!).

I do second the cole haans though.

I would suggest checking getting a pair of shoes and walking around your house for a bit to see how you feel about them (that's what I do with heels!)

Good luck on the shoe hunt!
