Hi Everyone,

After days trying to search all of facebook and the internet for a forum for Drexel MPH Class of 2012, I still couldn't find one. I figure I create this thread hoping I would get to know my classmates ahead before the orientation. If there is already a thread, I apologize and please let me know. Hope to hear from everyone.

PS--If you are looking for roommates too, that would be great! It's difficult looking for a cheap room.

Well, if you are moving in t the city cener, yeah, good uck spending lessthan $1000, even with a roommate. Hoestly though, Stiles Hall is probably your best bet. It is like $2,000 a month for a 2BR, so $1,000 ech, but you get internet, cable, utilitis, and electricity covered for that price, AND parking. You are also only like 3 blocks from the PH school. If you want cheaper you'd have to find a great deal or move towards university city. There's more choices there, but then you're like 25 blocks away from school, but there is the blue line and the shuttle. I am not a Drexel student, so I don't know everything about it. But my fiance is a Drexel student.

i lived 2 blocks from HUH and paid $400 a month, 5 minute walk from my room to class. contact cilione real estate to see if their other duplex is available. My old roommate still lives there.
If you go south of market to the spruce street, chestnut or walnut area, more towards 19th street onwards, you should be able to get an efficiency for a $550 or a little more.
Center city is expensive but if you look around, you can find little gems. I'll say it's the best place to live in philly.

I'm coming in from California and I found a place in Center city. A studio for ~$800...don't know if that's good or not. Anyway nice to meet you.
