Drexel - what's going on?

in the next week or so, I'll have gotten all of my secondaries in, except one - Drexel. They haven't sent me a secondary yet. At least Wake was kind enough to send me an email saying "we got your AAMCAS stuff and will get back to you later."

Has anybody gotten a secondary from Drexel yet? Do they want a first year class?

i got one a few weeks ago, amcas verified early july. they were the last school i heard from.

There was a delay with this school. It was the last one I got, about 2 weeks ago. You should get the secondary soon.

rumor has it there was a delay with the letterhead (switching from mcp to drexel) so everything is backed up a bit. they were the last to get back to me by a pretty large margin.
the good news is that it's an easy secondary!

Got mine 9/3 and I think my AMCAS was verified on 6/17.

The same goes for me. Drexel sent me a secondary in the beginning of September.

On a similar subject....Has anyone received secondaries from Virginia Commonwealth and the Medical College of Ohio?

I got one from VCU a couple of weeks ago and was processed in mid-July. They also have an online status page so you might want to check that and see if they listed it there.

I actually called AMCAS up and they said the delay is in that Drexel does not use the traditional transmission procedure. Instead they have their own FTP that AMCAS sends them to. But AMCAS should also send a hard copy to Drexel. Hope this helps.

Drexel's secodary came VERY LATE, but they sent their interview invite EXTREMELY QUICKLY. I got an interview from Drexel about 1.5 weeks after sending out my secondary. My interview with Drexel is on Friday, y'all. Wish me luck.

Since they don't screen, I think that you should call them and see what's up. There could easily be an error or a mail problem.
