Ahh...a Umass interview.

Are you taking 128 to the PIKE?
I think the Pike should be ok, going westbound.
Can you stay somewhere overnight in Worcester? I get to stressed out in the morning - and who wants to leave their house by 7 AM?

128 to the pike, yeah.

well, i normally leave for work around 630, 645am (crazy, i know) so i hope not to have to leave any earlier although it's gonna be harder to be ready on time while getting all suited up for the interview...

i just don't feel like spending the money to stay in worcester since it's really not that far. and i'd be more stressed out staying at someone's place than staying at home.

Well, since you are used leaving for work at 6:30, I guess just stick to that. (i dont leave for work until 8, so, 6:30 would kill me).

Most likely you will be early...but, in this case it is better to be safe than sorry. 2.5 hours gives you enough time to have 15 extra minutes of traffic, take on wrong turn, park, and find your way to the admissions office.

Good luck.

Going westbound on the Pike from 128 to Worcester should take no more than around 40 minutes, tops. It's a reverse commute, so the traffic is pretty light going west. I can usually make it from Boston to Worcester in just a tad under an hour in the morning. I say relax, and don't worry too much about it.
